Replace loop. (figure 4-5)
CAUTION
Do not cut through the boot.
(a)
Remove old loop (1) and strap (2) from boot (3).
(b)
Cut a length of strap equal to length of strap removed.
(c)
Fold strap (2) around one side of loop (1) and sew.
(d)
Sew strap (2) and loop (1) into place using box stitch (7 to 9 stitches per inch).
